Data is not sold or used for third-party advertising purposes.
4. Legal basis for processing
Collection is based on explicit consent given at signup. This consent is freely given, informed, and may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Retention period
Data is kept:
- Until public launch, after which it may be transferred if the person creates an account
- Or until the person requests deletion
- If neither happens, deleted no later than 24 months after signup

8. Security measures
- Firestore access restricted through security rules and Firebase authentication
- Encrypted HTTPS/TLS communications
- API keys stored in environment variables and not exposed client-side
- Data access limited according to least-privilege principles
- No financial data collected
8a. Privacy incident management
- All privacy incidents are recorded in an internal incident register
- If an incident poses a risk of serious harm, the CAI is notified without undue delay and affected individuals are informed
- The register is retained for 5 years and available upon request from the CAI

8b. Minimum age
The service is intended for persons aged 18 and over. Minors aged 14 to 17 may register with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Elintys does not knowingly collect data on children under 14.
9. Cookies and trackers
The site uses only strictly necessary technical cookies. No advertising cookies and no third-party tracking. No ad network has access to visitor data.
10. Changes
Elintys may update this policy at any time. In the event of a material change, registered users will be informed by email at least 30 days before it takes effect.
